When I was a single gal, one of my favorite little splurges was treating myself to a well-made handcrafted bar of soap. When I heard about Amathia Soapworks, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a bar.
One thing that attracted me to Amathia Soapworks was the fact that they are made in small batches using the highest quality ingredients. Their herbal concoctions are sourced locally, when possible, from a variety of organic and wildcrafted herbs. A small business after my own heart.
The soap that I received was the Ginger Essence. The scent filled the air without being overwhelming. The bar was appropriately sized, too. Having small hands, I find the traditional size bath bars are too cumbersome for me. I liked that these bars are small without being dainty and fragile.
Amathia Soapworks offers more than just soap! I found this gorgeous Beech wood round soap dish. It would look beautiful sitting on my kitchen counter with a bar of the Inspire Lemon Verbena Soap sitting in it!
If there ever was a time that I wish my laptop was scratch and sniff, it was when I stumped upon the Lip Love Moisturizer. Can you imagine an asian pear lip balm? Yum!

I love this post! I am a hgue fan of handmade soaps and have even tried it myself a few times. It is definitely cost effective and a fun way to do it yourself! I really want to try the raspberry vanilla or the bamboo. I find vanilla to be such a soothing scent and bamboo is always clean and crisp-the perfect afternoon nap scent
