For the last few years, I’ve been sleeping terribly. Typically, I sleep from 10 to 2, then toss and turn until 5, then catch another hour before I drag myself out of bed at 6. At first I thought that it was due to wanting to be pregnant, to being pregnant, and then to breastfeeding on demand. We weaned nearly a year and a half ago, so as it out, I can’t blame The Boy for my crummy sleep!
About a month ago, I started sleeping with a Zeo Sleep Manager. Sounds risque, but it isn’t. It’s a headband that you wear on your head at bedtime, sync it up with a free app for your iPhone or Android and your sleep is measured. The Texan snickers when I put it on, mentions that it is sexy. I thank him and tell him I have to get to sleep right away.
Created by a group of sleep-deprived Brown University students, the Zeo Sleep Manager allows you to track your quality of sleep and quantity of sleep from the comfort of your own home. Through research, they learned that the more your sleep is interrupted, the worse a person felt in the morning. The Zeo Sleep Manager is the only sleep tracking system that measures all phases of sleep accurately.
My first night, I was so excited to monitor my sleep that I could not wait to go to bed! I created a free online account with Zeo and my information automatically syncs allowing me to track and view my sleep pattern. Each night you receive a ZQ score which is a measurement of your sleepI checked my account after the first night and was beyond thrilled with my results!
Of course, I have had nights were I wake for a big chunk of time. That takes away from my sleep score. I don’t like that.
I find that I am competing with myself each day, wanting to get better at sleeping. Isn’t that funny? Here’s my best day (so far)!
The Zeo Sleep Manager has really helped me to control my sleep. I am waking up feeling well rested, and I no longer want to nap every afternoon! I am working to improve my overall sleep score, my current 7-day average is 65.
Thank you to Zeo for sponsoring the prize pack for the Summer Sizzle giveaway hop beginning June 24th! Come back to enter for your chance to win a $99 Zeo Sleep Manager of your own!!
Disclosure: I received a complimentary Zeo Sleep Manager to facilitate this review. However, the thoughts and opinions are my own and have not been influenced in any way by Zeo. This post may contain affiliate links.

I need this. I sleep horribly and drag all day long until I get a nap.

I’d love to help my sleep get better. Sometimes I just don’t sleep well and I don’t know why.
I definitely need this. I have so many sleeping issues. I think it would be a great to get a better nights sleep.
I would love this for my dh. His poor sleep affects my sleep! THen everyone is crabby !
i could definitely use a good nights sleep!
I have been interested in doing a sleep study, but didn’t like the idea of not being able to do it in the privacy of my own home. I never sleep well away from home so going to a sleep lab kinda defeats the purpose.
I have a terrible time getting a good nights sleep and I never have a good routine so this could be a real blessing for me.
I haven’t slept good in three years!
Wow, this sounds fantastic! My husband and I have always been horrible insomniacs and lately it has really been affecting my work.
My internal clock has been messed up since the birth of my last child. Now, I’m up almost all night and sleep most of the day… I really want to get my sleep back on track so that I can be more productive and a better mom
this would help me to know more about why I am so tired during the day
this is really interesting device. Would love to get a handle on my sleep patterns.
