Friday, July 13
Drive-In Movie: Visit Cape Cod’s only drive-in movie theater and catch a double feature of Disney’s Brave and The Amazing Spiderman on their 100 ft by 44 ft screen!
Saturday, July 14
Heroes’ Homecoming: Attend the 5th annual military appreciation day at the Cape Cod Children’s Museum in Mashpee. This day is a patriotic celebration with personnel from all branches meeting and greeting visitors, a display of military vehicles, and patriotic crafts.
Jam Kitchen Workshop: Always wanted to try making jam? Head over to the Green Briar Nature Center & Jam Kitchen in Sandwich to make a fruit salad jam! Participants will take home four to six jars of jam (my address is available in case you wish to share!), advanced registration is required.
Therapy Dogs: Learn what it takes for therapy dogs to pass their Therapy Dogs International test. This event is at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster.
Sunday, July 15
Cape Kids Fest 2012: Enjoy a day of local music, classic carnival games, prizes, artists and craft vendors, and great food at the Chatham Community Center. You can find all the information you’ll need to know about the event here.
