Shopping for a new car is one of my favorite things to do. In fact, I’m always browsing – even the day after we bring home a new vehicle! One thing I missed out on while living in Florida was checking out Volvo West Palm Beach. I don’t know how – my in-laws live there!
When we lived in Florida, we weren’t looking for reliable family vehicles. We had fun sporty cars and weren’t concerned with crash test ratings, resale value, or anything else. Back then, my primary focus was on air conditioning and a great sound system.
Shortly after The Boy was born, we began looking for a new vehicle. I previously had a two door, and popping the infant carrier into the back got old quickly! I desperately wanted a Saab, but The Texan convinced me that Volvo was the way to go. I’m so glad that he did – Saab went out of business and Volvo is going strong. I love our Volvo sedan.
The next vehicle we replace will be our SUV. I want a Suburban, and I’m already browsing for deals. I’d even consider another brand that was similarly sized!
What type of vehicle do you drive now that you’re a parent? Did your vehicle needs change after having a child?
