what I wore wednesday

Last week I had so much fun sharing my casual style with y’all, that I couldn’t wait to do it again!

After publishing my first What I Wore post, I wanted to capture what I wore each day. Wouldn’t that be fun? Well, The Boy came home from preschool on Wednesday with a fever that lasted until Monday. I did not leave my house and wore yoga pants every day. Crap. Great idea quelled by illness. Let’s hope for a healthy kiddo and some cute outfits to share next week. Until then, here’s what I wore today:

What I Wore

Cable Knit Scarf – Gap
Turquoise V-Neck Tee – Old Navy
Jeans – Gap Curvy Boot
Shoes – Dansko Professional Patent Leather, Purple

I’ve noticed that I prefer jeans, and upon further inspection of my closet, that’s all that’s in there. Besides a few pairs of business-y pants from my days as a career gal. I think denim is a fine look for me, and works well with my casual lifestyle. I’m excited for spring and summer, when I can bring out cute dresses and skirts. Hopefully by sharing these posts I’ll be inspired to add a few pieces that I generally wouldn’t choose.
