Since becoming a mother, I find it difficult to stay on track with my personal wellness regime. There never seems to be enough time to exercise in a gym (not that I enjoyed that in my pre-momma days) or time to visit the yoga studio (I did enjoy practicing). Finding something to help me stay focused on personal wellness has become a mission for me. And, I finally found a great tool to help me. “Life…Supplemented.”
If you’re not familiar with the brand, Life…Supplemented is a consumer wellness campaign focused on helping you create a healthier lifestyle. You’re probably asking yourself, how does a website accomplish that? It’s quite simple, they provide a variety of online tools to help you live your best life – such as their blog The Supplemental, The Supplement Resource Center, and an amazing app! Once you’ve downloaded the app to your iPhone or iPod, you answer a series of questions and are provided with actionable suggestions and educational information about the three pillars of a smart wellness regimen: healthy diet, supplements and exercise.
When you visit the Life…Supplemented website, be sure to complete the free quiz that provides an initial wellness assessment. Are you an an AlphaWELL or an OhWELL? Either way, Life…Supplemented will have a few tips and ways to improve your health.
My favorite tool that Life…Supplemented offers is how to responsibly add supplements into our lives. Sadly, many people abuse supplements, take them because their friend is taking them, or because a television doctor suggested it might be good for some people. As women, we need to be proactive and responsible about our health. Adding this app to your iPhone or iPod is a great way to keep your health in check. Regular visits to your physician are a great idea too.
What are you waiting for? Go download the app today and get to work on maintaining your wellness regime.
Disclosure: I wrote this blog post while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Life…supplemented. As a thank you for participating, I received a $25 promotional item, and a $25 donation was made on my behalf to Vitamin Angels.
