Thank you to TakeLessons.com for making this post possible.

Exposure to Music is key for development

If you follow me on Facebook, you may notice that The Boy and I take a music class together each Monday morning. We’ve been taking classes for three years, and it’s been a wonderful learning experience for us. I believe that exposure to music is key for development. When I heard about TakeLessons, I knew that it was something I wanted to share with you.

TakeLessons was founded in 2006 with the goal of bringing students and families together with private music teachers, art instructors and academic tutors across the United States. More than 30,000 students have taken part in a lesson of some type. TakeLessons coordinates the scheduling, the instructor, and your billing – all you do is enjoy your lesson! One thing that turned me on, aside from the In Home and In Studio lessons, was the option to select Online Lessons. If you’re like me, you have a computer {how else are you reading this?!}, a webcam, and internet – you’d just need to set up a free Skype account and you could start your online lessons right away!

Over 30 different types of lessons are offered! WOW – imagine learning violin, guitar, or drums from the comfort of your own home from someone who is passionate about music? As a special offer this weekend ONLY, TakeLessons is offering 20% off alllessons packages with special promotional code “SPRINGMUSIC“. Students can book online, or give call at 855-334-1831 to talk through options and pricing with a Student Counselor! If you call, be sure to mention the special promotional code “SPRINGMUSIC“.

I participated in a campaign through Mom Bloggers Club on behalf of TakeLessons. I received compensation to thank me for participating; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

    • Drum lessons – now that sounds fun! Music is so important – it helps with many areas of development, everyone should be exposed to some type of music regularly.
