Where’s Waldo? This event run Friday through Sunday at Mashpee Commons and is full of fun! A variety of events are taking place in the Mashpee Commons area – magic shows, get your photo taken with Waldo, face painting and more! Outdoor Concert Head over to Sandwich and enjoy a free concert presented by Citizens Bank and the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod. The concert is from 6-7:30pm at Heritage Museums & Gardens. This week you’ll listen to Stage Door Canteen -the band swings the classic hits of the Big Band era but also gets the dance floor grooving with Motown, Van Morrison, the Beatles and much more!
Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen The third annual Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen motorcycle ride honoring fallen Cape Cod heroes will begin at 11am from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s complex in Bourne and ends at the Flax Pond Recreation Area in South Yarmouth. This police escorted 37-mile ride draws hundreds of motorcyclists from across the country. You can learn more here. A great place to view the ride is the Dennis-Yarmouth High School.
Stuey Lewis Event At Where The Sidewalk Ends Bookstore in Chatham you’ll find author Jane Schoenberg, author of the “Stuey Lewis’ books, telling stories, signing books, and creating a fun craft with participates. The event is from 2-4pm.
The Barnstable County Fair! This annual summer fair has been going on for over 165 years! Come join the fun at the fairgrounds in Falmouth for animal shows, petty zoos, rides, games, food, live music and more! The Fabulous Thunderbirds take the stage on Saturday night, and Big Shot (a Billy Joel tribute band) performs on Sunday evening. Gates open from 12pm – 10pm, midway open until 11:30pm daily.
