Are you feeling overwhelmed by the hustle of the holidays? This year, I’ve promised to NOT let that happen to me. We’ve scaled back on the activities we’re attending and focusing on quality time with one another. It’s been a beautiful season for us, so far. It’s not too late for you to slow down, say “NO!” and enjoy your family either!
Last weekend, we went to our favorite Christmas Tree Farm and The Texan chopped down our tree. This is one tradition that I love, and look forward to every year.
The Tree Farm has a great tractor ride, a beautiful greenhouse – with hot chocolate(!) – and there was a jolly man in a red suit, too! A friend asked if our tree was more costly than buying a precut – and honestly, not much more. In addition to the tree, we got wonderful memories, too.
If you’re looking for great handmade gifts for your friends, check out this great tutorial to make a personalized coffee mug!
Or maybe you want to make a tote bag for a friend? I made this super easy reversible tote bag for a road trip, but it makes an AWESOME Christmas gift, too!
And if you’re headed to a Holiday Open House this weekend. Make These. Peanut Butter Cocoa Rice Krispies Brownies.
I can’t wait to see what you’ve been whipping up on Wednesdays! I’m pinning what you’ve shared to my #WhipItUpWednesday board on Pinterest – be sure to follow along if you’re not already!
Please do keep in mind that a handmade craft is either homemade or made by hand – not something you’ve purchased. It includes recipes, paper crafts, sewing projects, decorating ideas, photography, furniture transformations and much, much more! This handmade linky party will be open until Monday at 2pm EST. I’d love it if you’d grab the button and include it, and a link back, in your post or on display it on your blog. Not required, but very much appreciated.
Just a friendly reminder, please do not link up giveaways, links to your shops, or any post that is NOT a recipe, craft, home decor or another PROJECT that you’ve created. Those links will be deleted without warning. Thank you!
